This position requires the Line Cook to be responsible for preparing the highest quality menu items for guests while maintaining a clean, sanitized kitchen area. The Line Cook is responsible for consistently following recipes and procedures, as well as adhering to Ojos Locos standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicates with Kitchen Manager or management team or on any food related issues
  • Well versed in preparing food items while constantly adhering to recipe standards
  • Works directly with team members to ensure all guest requests are accommodated 
  • Follow recipes; upholds specs and perfect presentation of every dish
  • Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas; ensures compliance with food handling requirements
  • Supports other stations and areas of the HOH as needed
  • Maintains neat and organized work areas
  • Accomplished all opening, running and end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next shift
