Specialist, Internal Communications 

This Is What You’ll Do:

  • Develop content calendars with Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications on a monthly cadence for internal use and employee-facing communications.
  • Create engaging visual and written content in the Octapharma Plasma voice to be used on employee-facing communication channels.
  • Collaborate with members of the Culture & Employee Experience team to communicate new initiatives with employees both in the corporate office and in the field.
  • Assist with the development of comprehensive communications plans and materials for various projects.
  • Conduct research to maintain best practices for platform utilization and engagement with employees.
  • Evaluate internal channel performance and pivot strategy to align with current trends.
  • Provide communications support for executives, including emails and newsletters for internal publication.
  • Monitor and moderate Marketing Communication inbox and requests to address employee inquiries and patterns in feedback.
  • Align with corporate and center staff to curate evergreen content that is relevant to the core values and vision of Octapharma Plasma.
  • Maintain and regularly refresh the internal asset library to include the latest corporate, center, and partnership materials such as photos, videos, and written content.
  • Manage SharePoint site content to ensure alignment with company goals and standards while upholding internal communication best practices.
  • Champion brand standards and ensure consistency of brand image across all internal communications channels.
  • Support Octapharma Plasma’s vision, mission, purpose, and core values.

This Is What It Takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent field and/or experience.
  • One to three years of working experience in internal communications environment and/or healthcare marketing field preferred.
  • Experience working with a national multi-site organization preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects.
  • Previous work experience demonstrating decision-making ability, ability to effectively communicate with and positively influence people, familiarity with fiscal operations, supervisory responsibility, conflict resolution, and customer service.
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including training, presentation, and negotiating skills.
  • Proficiency in popular writing styles such as Chicago, MLA, and APA.
  • Basic computer, typing, and mathematical skills.
  • Experience working in marketing automation platforms and constructing digital campaign logic is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including SharePoint.
  • Excellent people skills that extend to a diverse group of individuals and demographics.
  • Excellent detail-orientation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Digital design experience through Adobe Design Platforms or Canva preferred.
  • Experience with employee app content development preferred.
