We’re hiring a communications professional to join our growing Truist corporate communications team. The candidate will play a contributing role, partnering with the corporate communications team to provide communications support for Truist Securities, the corporate and investment banking arm of Truist, as well as other Wholesale Banking businesses. The Senior Specialist will conduct research and develop materials, including messaging, talking points, media pitches, presentations and contributed articles to engage internal audiences and external stakeholders. Working closely with business experts and leaders, and the broader Wholesale Banking communications team, the Communications Senior Specialist will help deliver impactful results.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execute on internal and external communications strategy for Truist Securities.
2. Maintain a working-level understanding of Truist and Truist Securities, as well as its products and services.
3. Develop strategic communication plans for key events and announcements, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overarching communications strategy.
4. Write press releases, speeches, thought-leadership articles, media briefs and communications on behalf of senior leaders.
5. Develop materials to obtain positive media mentions; craft leadership messaging; conduct spokesperson training; and produce multi-channel internal communications.
6. Plan content/messaging and develop materials for town halls, conferences, speaking engagements and events.
7. Create positive news to build the company's brand, advance our purpose, and promote our solutions and services.
8. Identify and consult with key stakeholders to ensure accuracy of information and data.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training
2. 3-5 years of related experience
3. Demonstrated corporate communications internal and external message development and project management
4. Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills
5. Proficiency in using communications technology, video production and mass communications techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or English
2. Experience in Financial Services industry, or agency experience
