We’re currently looking for a problem-solving Help Desk Support Technician to join our IT Department.
A day in the life of a Help Desk Support Technician Employee looks like:
- Being the first point of contact for the help desk systems within The Decker Companies.
- Providing technology support and training for company systems and hardware.
- Assisting in staging desktops and laptops including re-imaging OS, installing corporate required software.
- Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system.
- Other duties as assigned
Help Desk Technician Must Haves
- Requires two-year degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field.
- Desire to grow personally and professionally through exposure to new systems and solutions.
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license
Help Desk Technician Nice to Haves
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Maintains a neat and professional appearance
- Represents the company and the transportation industry in a positive and professional manner
- Physical requirements may include lifting equipment of 50 pounds or less
