Overview:
Seeking a dual position of Dental Assistant and Office Assistant. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and as Office Assistant you will be assisting with scheduling, collecting payments, person to person communicating with patients and staff. The skills necessary for success are: well organized, patient, kind, compassionate, flexible, trainable, and a general love for people.

Duties:
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms for dental procedures, sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming teeth models
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with front office tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance coverage

Experience:
- Previous experience not required; training on job provided
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
