The Licensed Dental Assistant: Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments and supplies Collects and records patient health histories, take impressions and x-rays Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures Prepares dental materials (cements, amalgam, composite, impression materials, etc.) Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies Cleans/polishes removable devices; fabricate temporary restorations, custom trays, study models Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staffWhat we seek: High school diploma or equivalent Licensed Dental Assistant in Minnesota Previous dental experience preferred Leadership and multitasking abilities Team player with a positive attitude Professional written and verbal communication skills High level of customer service skills Superior attention to detailPatient Care Hours:Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Powered by JazzHR
