- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop accounting software

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for all areas relating to accounting functions and financial reporting. The position is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities. Assists in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees as well as assisting with accounting duties including accounts receivable.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
2) Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
3) Responsible for accurate and timely payroll
4) Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues.
5) Work with the Accounting Manager to ensure an accurate and timely year end report.
6) Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the accounting department
7) Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
8) Research and solve payment discrepancies
9) Process credit card payments and credits
10) Make adjustment to accounts as needed
11) Participates in benefits administration
12) Participates in recruitment effort for exempt and non-exempt personnel
13) Conducts new employee orientations; administers pre-employment tests; conducts reference checks.
14) Assists in filing annual reports; maintains other records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures.
15) Maintains Human Resource Information system records and compiles reports form database as needed.
16) Invoices customers.

18) Research and solve payment discrepancies
19) Files weekly and annual 401k reports, HSA reports.
20) Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
