Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for a qualified, patient-care-focused Tray Line Cook to work for a State Hospital in Pasadena, TX.

Cooks are responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Cook food products for patients, café, catering functions, and doctor’s lounge. Maintain high quality, proper temperatures and garnish all plates.
• Coordinates with the Production Chef and Food Service Coordinators to ensure scheduled meal preparation and/or meal delivery.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
• 2 or more years of experience.
• Must have leadership skills
• ServSafe Food Handler Certificate Required
• Immunizations are required.

Job Details:

• 5 am - 7:30 am - 4 days per week
• Must be flexible
• $15/hr Starting based on experience benefits
