The purpose of this classification, under general supervision, is to perform skilled technical and inspection work in the areas of new and existing businesses. Position is responsible for ensuring codes compliance to ensure public safety through inspection of new and existing structures. Responsible for enforcement of City, state, and federal codes and ordinances, regulating use and occupancy. Performs related work as required.
