Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the phone system
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed in electronic medical record systems
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and office operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to work as a team, but also work alone and complete task with out consistent oversight, be unconcerned about other coworked unless it is in a positive and helpful way.
-Basic knowledge of vital signs.
TRAVEL TO BEAVERCREEK ON MONDAYS, AND SPRINGFIELD THURSDAYS WITH OUR PROVIDERS IS REQUIRED.
