Travel is required one to two days a week. Travel mileage is compensated. We are committed on providing the best experience and care for our patients. This is a full time position. Candidates with a medical background in medical assisting or related fields ONLY will be reviewed

Duties to include:

• Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
• Maintain patients' medical records
• Review medical history
• Obtain appropriate consents
• Call in prescriptions
• Perform patient call backs
• Checking patients In and Out
• Setting up for outpatient surgeries and stress tests
• Rooming patients

Requirements include:

• MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of vital signs is required
• Working knowledge of venous surgery and sterile technique is a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Must be computer literate

Salary:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour, salary based on experience and job performance.
