Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our community by achieving the goals of public health: prevention, promotion and protection. Our agency protects the air, food, drinking water, and many everyday aspects of a healthy Montgomery County. Improving and maintaining public health requires an ongoing community-wide effort with schools, hospitals, community organizations, and neighborhood groups to help people make healthier choices in their everyday lives.
