Responsibilities:
- Answer the telephone in a friendly manner.
- Help customers over the phone.
- Thank customers for their business and give them information about overnight lodging options in the area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all health and safety rules.
- Comply with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) rules.
- Deal with difficult customers.
- Answer questions from customers about the hotel and its amenities.
- Know the hotel's location, rates, and facilities so you can inform guests about the hotel.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Work setting:
- In-person
Experience:
- Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
