Hello and welcome to DAYBREAKER. We are a global morning dance community of 500K and growing and we wake up and dance 💃🏽 in the most iconic locations around the world. While the city sleeps, we break the day ☀️ with energy and intention with a community of adventure-seekers, mischief makers, and collective joy enthusiasts.

WHAT WE DO

Our bread and butter are morning dance and wellness events in iconic spaces (daybreaker.com), and in 2020 we launched a dance event series on livestream reaching 250k attendees through Daybreaker LIVE (Daybreaker.com/live), and launched the first ever membership platform to practice joy: Daybreaker .

We are a substance-free community and are reimagining how humans socialize (in the morning / without alcohol or drugs).

We are experience designers, creatives, storytellers and community architects with a results-oriented team and are set on building a lasting movement that continues to support local communities for years to come.

THE ROLE: Sr. Graphic Designer

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong design and creative skills, with professional experience in graphic design. We are looking for someone who learns fast, pushes the envelope, takes feedback in stride, and is endlessly curious. You are a patient and diligent team player who can work effectively with remote team members. You are hardworking, organized, and not too cool to get your hands dirty.

This is a FREELANCE role with scope and payment to be project dependent. We are also open to full time hire opportunities. You'll report directly to the Daybreaker leadership, working closely with a savvy, tight-knit, creative, and energetic team in Brooklyn, NYC.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working directly with Radha Agrawal, Founder / CEO, for all design projects including:
• Major projects include a full website redesign, email template redesign, new project brand books, and more.
• Smaller projects include:
• Creating event marketing assets across digital & print (Eventbrite event graphics, Facebook banners, IG posts and stories, printed flyers, posters or banners, etc.)
• Updating website graphics or videos for new campaigns and for seasonal website design/aesthetic updates
• Leading email marketing design thinking: Designing, testing and redesigning email graphics, templates, etc.
• Creating and editing imagery and/or Gifs for email campaigns, web content and/or social posts
• Creating thematic graphics, slides and overseeing creations for the virtual backgrounds for Daybreaker virtual events
• Creating intention cards and print posters for each event
• Further developing our 2022 Tour concepts and executing all related graphic design material necessary for the tour (branding, promotional graphics, event posters, onsite signage, etc.)
• Assisting with graphic needs to new or existing pitch decks: wireframing, prototyping and designing new or existing web pages (landing pages, contact forms, and web element etc) across Daybreaker and sub-brands
• Leading general design thinking alongside Radha Agrawal, Founder / CEO for all new projects
