Strategic Responsibility:

The PR & Communications Temp. will support public relations activities for the ministry’s Integrity Music arm. 

Job Description:

Supports VP of Communications with PR related tasks and projects in the absence of a PR manager.

Develops electronic press kits for distribution to media.

Writes, distributes and pitches media stories for the Integrity Music brands and artists.

Reviews materials intended for public release to ensure they represent the best interest of the Integrity Music brands and are consistent with communications and public relations objectives and policies.

Provides copy writing to support individual projects.

Displays a cheerful disposition in working on projects outside the typical workflow of this position. Effectively helps others in special projects.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

The PR & Communications Temp. must be a mature Christian with a strong faith commitment, who agrees with the company's Statement of Faith.

Formal Education: High school diploma. Relevant college coursework preferred.

Experience: Internship/practicum.

Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Some knowledge of Public Relation. Good writing skills. Ability to effectively communicate across a variety of media, organize material, and write lively and appealing content.

Equipment Knowledge: PC and/or Mac Computers. General office equipment.
