Strategic Responsibility:

The Director of Music Publishing is responsible to oversee and implement growth of Integrity Music'ssong catalog and publishing revenues by developing and maintaining and advocating for a global roster of songwriters, providingample, strategicopportunities resulting in songs for the Church while maximizing their overall career development and growth. The Director of Music Publishing is responsible to develop and maintain a creative songwriter culture and to lead the publishing team to achieve annual revenue goal and strategic initiatives.This position will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong external relationships and networks, seek out strategic revenue growth opportunities, new song development and acquisition,and other mutually beneficial partnerships. The Director of Publishing should embody Integrity Music’s mission and values.

Job Description:

Facilitate a creative songwriting culture and maximize the effectiveness of the integrity Music exclusive songwriter roster.

Lead publishing team efforts to advance opportunities and revenue for signed company songwriters resulting in overall career advancement/growth.

Actively pursue song exposure and usage.

Develop and lead the publishing team in a comprehensive sync strategy, coordinating the work of 3^rd party sync agents as needed.

Cultivate and maintain industry relationships.

Direct Integrity Music’s strategic global publishing initiatives and global song development.

Maintain publishing department budget and manage the annual budget proposal process.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Formal Education: Bachelors Degree in Music, Music Business, Music Education, or related field.

Experience: 8-10 years of increasingly responsible experience in the music recording industry. Experience as a worship leader or considerable knowledge of the development and flow of music worship services preferred. Must be passionate about the Christian music industry and have extensive experience as a networking pro and relationship builder.

Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Basic knowledge and experience with MS Office

Equipment Knowledge: General office equipment, Mac computers. Video/audio editing equipment and software knowledge helpful

Working Conditions:

1. Comfortable working conditions, handling light weight, intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
2. Working environment cubicle office and co-working spaces with some noise
3. Detail-oriented work requiring mental acuity and accuracy
4. Normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) are typical but must have a willingness and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends if/when necessary.
5. Some may be travel required.
