Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java ProgramManager to lead and oversee our Java development projects. The ideal candidatewill have a strong background in Java technologies, excellent projectmanagement skills, and a proven track record of successfully deliveringJava-based solutions. The Java Program Manager will be responsible forcoordinating and managing all aspects of Java development projects, ensuringtimely delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
oLead and manageend-to-end Java development projects, ensuring alignment with businessobjectives and project goals.oProvidestrategic direction and technical guidance to the Java development team.·TeamCollaboration:
oFoster acollaborative and innovative development environment.oCollaboratewith cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance,and infrastructure, to ensure seamless project execution.·JavaDevelopment Oversight:
oOversee theentire Java development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.oEnsure thedevelopment team follows best practices, coding standards, and implementsefficient and scalable solutions.·ResourceManagement:
oManageresources effectively, including workload distribution, task prioritization,and team allocation.oConduct regularteam meetings to monitor project progress, discuss challenges, and provideguidance.·QualityAssurance:
oCollaboratewith the quality assurance team to establish and maintain robust testingprocesses for Java applications.oEnsure thedelivery of high-quality, bug-free software.·StakeholderCommunication:
oCommunicateproject status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency andalignment with organizational goals.oManageexpectations and provide regular updates to senior management.·RiskManagement:
oIdentifypotential risks and challenges in Java development projects and implementmitigation strategies.oProactivelyaddress issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.·ContinuousImprovement:
oDrivecontinuous improvement initiatives within the Java development team.oStay abreast ofindustry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java development.
