We are seeking a talented Tableau Prep Analytics Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data preparation workflows and analytics solutions using Tableau Prep to support business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data preparation workflows in Tableau Prep Builder to clean, transform, and integrate data from various sources.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to understand data requirements and design effective data preparation solutions.
• Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau Desktop to provide insights into key business metrics and trends.
• Optimize data models and queries to improve performance and scalability of Tableau workbooks and dashboards.
• Perform data analysis and quality assurance to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in Tableau visualizations.
• Stay updated on Tableau best practices and new features and apply them to enhance analytics solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop-related issues.
• Document data preparation processes, data models, and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing and developing data preparation workflows and analytics solutions using Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop.
• Proficiency in Tableau Prep Builder, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Server.
• Strong understanding of data preparation concepts, data modelling, and data visualization best practices.
• Experience working with relational databases, SQL, and ETL tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tableau Desktop or Tableau Prep certification.
• Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modelling techniques.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
