Description

Darragh Contractor Supply is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our team in Madison, AL. If you have excellent sales skills, can communicate well in written and verbal forms with customers and have knowledge and/or experience in the industrial and construction related fields, then check out this opportunity. You will develop new prospects, maintain current current relationships, and continue to grow opportunities with a consultative sales approach to provide value to meet the needs of the customer. Knowledge of the construction industry and concrete services a plus. Previous sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed annual assigned sales and gross profit dollar growth objectives
  • Maintain and service existing accounts including contacts, files, potential sales opportunities from new products or services, and maintain satisfactory Accounts Receivables balance on invoices
  • Continually seek and research potential new customers in area, make contact, and maintain communication for sales opportunities

Qualifications

  • One to two years of sales experience; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Possess the ability to plan and organize to meet your customers needs. Must be able to adapt as needed in an ever changing environment.
  • You must be able to be creative and take initiative to seek out new customers and maintain current customers
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; order processing systems and contact management systems
  • Reliable transportation a must. We offer a vehicle reimbursement program for our sales force. Vehicle must meet compliance standards.
  • Sales experience in the industrial and construction industry preferred; previous sales experience a plus
