Title: eCommerce Marketing Coordinator

Department: Dark Horse Direct

Reports to: Director of eCommerce

Position Objective:

We are seeking a self-driven, professional eCommerce Marketing Coordinator for the B2C online storefront and social media channels, Dark Horse Direct, to sell high-end, limited availability products and collectibles to fans all over the world. This position provides support to the Director of eCommerce with responsibilities related (but not limited) to: professional customer service, social media calendaring and posting, copy writing, image asset management, and others duties as assigned. The eCommerce Marketing Coordinator will field other general administrative office duties as assigned. Responsibilities:

• Social Media
• Build out regular calendar of content to build social media followers and engagement, including:
• General product postings
• Giveaway coordination and fulfillment
• Capitalizing off timely media/pop culture events
• Coordinating co-promotional opportunities with content creators, licensors, and other business partners
• Report monthly on social media channel growth and ROI
• Be able to take engaging photos and videos of product for social media channels as needed
• Build out regular social media advertising campaigns
• Identify key customer demographics not currently recruiting
• Investigate new social media platforms and mediums to expand to and capitalize on, including video content growth
• Customer Service
• Professional and Customer-centric response via Email, Phone, and Social Media including Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram
• Assist with Replacement Products and Parts Fulfillment
• Assist with newsletter communications
• Assist with brainstorming product ideas, incentives, marketing promotions, product development and launch coordination, and order fulfillment
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Preferred Requirements:

• 1-3 years prior experience working in marketing, online sales, customer service focused on B2C brand communication
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience managing and maintaining professional social media accounts and/or newsletter communications or applicable study required
• Experience and comfortable being on camera a plus
• Familiar with Shopify, Magento, or other eCommerce platforms
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite & Google platforms
• Comfortable working with Mac and Apple Products
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential
• Since this position works directly with customers, multiple departments, vendors, and business partners, candidates must have a professional attitude and be flexible to work with people of various personalities
• Knowledge of Dark Horse Comics, Dark Horse Direct, and general pop culture preferred
• Minimal travel may be required
