We are currently seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Specialist.

As a Sales Specialist at the Daniel Fraser District Office, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for prospecting, acquiring, and retaining business clients for Farmers Insurance products and services. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building lasting relationships with clients, and promoting the value of insurance solutions to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities


  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  • Identify and qualify potential business clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand the industry landscape, competitors, and potential clients' specific needs.

2.Consultative Selling:

  • Engage with prospective clients to assess their insurance requirements and risk exposures.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice on suitable insurance coverage options based on clients' needs, budget, and risk tolerance.
  • Present compelling proposals and effectively communicate the value proposition of our insurance products and services.

3.Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering ongoing assistance, advice, and support to address their evolving insurance needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products.

4.Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including underwriters, claims professionals, and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless delivery of insurance solutions and exceptional client experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and product enhancements.

5.Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and monitor pipeline progression.
  • Prepare regular reports and analyses to evaluate sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of various types of business insurance products, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and commercial auto.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Relevant insurance licenses and certifications (e.g., Property and Casualty Insurance License) a plus.
