Daniel Duvall DDS P.C. is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Lakewood, CO

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

```Experience```
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and equipment
- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including instrument sterilization and tray setup
- Skilled in medical documentation, including updating patient charts and recording treatment plans
- Experience with medical imaging, including taking and developing dental x-rays
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records using Dentrix software
- Ability to assist with pediatric patients, providing a calm and reassuring environment

We are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, strong knowledge of dental procedures, and excellent communication skills. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients.
