Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and personable individual to join our team as a Financial Coordinator and Receptionist. This dual role involves managing financial transactions and coordinating front desk duties to ensure the smooth operation of our high-end dental office. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow within the organization, and be able to take pride in providing excellent customer service to all guests and co-workers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly and ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our office.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar to optimize efficiency and patient flow.
- Handle financial transactions, including billing, invoicing, and insurance claims processing, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment costs, insurance coverage, and payment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations and office policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in financial management and coordination.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with dental office management software (Dentrix) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in finance, administration, or customer service is advantageous.
