Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our Hopkinton team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving inbound/ outbound freight, stocking material, picking orders, daily truck scheduling, receiving, and inventory control functions. Also include daily walk-in customer interaction, as well as supervising warehouse staff and drivers. Management skills a must for consideration of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Maintain operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling, and inventory management. 

• Inspect warehouse and equipment, initiate repair work orders, and equipment replacement requisitions. 

• Coordinate warehouse activities with other departments such as service, sales, records control, and purchasing. 

• Direct salvage of damaged or used materials. 

• Participate in safety and plant protection planning and training. 

• Provide training for new hires. 

• Manage warehouse staff and serve as backup dispatcher as needed. 

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent. 

• Three (3) years of warehouse operations experience with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. 

• Proficiency in computer skills, including Office365, sales, and inventory systems. 

• Forklift Certification preferred. 

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
