Damage Control is full-service restoration and remodeling contractor, specializing in emergency services for water, fire and mold. We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with strong team leadership and project management skills to join our team. The ideal candidate’s role is to plan, direct and manage multiple construction projects and field staff while maintaining schedules and budget parameters. Exceptional communication is key to keeping the customer, subs, estimator and field staff up to date. This role requires considerable judgement and latitude in performing job duties and is expected to function effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure each project is managed from initial contact with customers through completion
• Direct and lead customers with the product selection process and change orders
• Work with the Estimator to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and signed off
• Respond to all client inquiries in a timely manner
• Participate in weekly Work In Progress meetings
• Provide feedback and communicate with the Estimator and production staff to ensure clear expectations and maximum productivity and profits
• Manage subcontractors and oversee their work, ensuring project is on schedule and within budget
• Lead, supervise and assist with training internal production staff
• Resolve any project or staffing conflict quickly in a professional manner

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience
• Knowledgeable of home restoration process and commercial construction
• Able to run 20 jobs consecutively
• Minimum of 3 years PM experience
• Must quickly be able to develop relationships and build trust with all customers and production staff
• Able to resolve project and/or staffing issues timely and in a professional manner
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Available to be part of an on-call schedule for one week, once per month
• Able to walk job sites and be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Can read blueprints, take measurements accurately and assist with design layout
• Knowledgeable of construction products and suppliers

Salary: $55,000 to 78,000 /year depending on knowledge and job experience
