The Process-Project Engineering Associate is responsible for supporting our production plants using engineering skills to assess, manage, improve, or revise processes, with the goal of improving the efficiency of the plant operations including safety and environmental impacts, while never sacrificing product quality. This position is also responsible for managing projects identified by various teams within BMC. He/she will manage vendor relationships and contracts related to the projects they manage throughout and ultimately ensure the projects are closed on time and in scope.

Primary location will be Fairwater/Berlin with travel to Taylor, WI and Kermit, TX when overseeing projects at those sites.

• Bachelor’s degree in process or mechanical, minerals processing, or chemical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or mineral processing environment
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects from conception thru startup including budgeting
• Strong vendor management skills including skills in contract review
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to generate innovative ideas to support the decision making process
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a self-directed team environment and collaborate with different teams and team members
• Travel will be required when working on projects at other sites
