Medical photography position
Part Time 20-30 Hours Per Week

The part time medical photographer is a unique position that supports photographic imagery needed for documentation in the field of Plastic Surgery Practice. The Part Time Medical Photographer helps assist and provide studio coverage when other Medical Photographers are unavailable or when assistance is needed.
The position offers an in-depth training where you will work one on one with the current photographers in order to prepare you as a contractor.
REQUIREMENTS:
· The photographer must follow HIPPA Regulations in regards to imagery.
· Must be efficient at shooting images within specified guidelines per doctor with extreme attention to detail and measurements.
· We are seeking someone with a flexible schedule who can be available on call, whether short notice or in advance.
· Contract hire will be working business hours anytime between 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends required.
· This person must be mature and compassionate towards patients (must be comfortable with nudity).
· Must be personable with staff and patients (adults and children).
· Must have the drive to be a team member.
· Willing to learn and assist other studios and physicians’ offices during clinic.
· Willing to work at two locations (Dallas and Plano)
PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be comfortable with Nikon DSLR’s
· Must know how to shoot in manual mode.
· 1-year studio lighting experience is preferred (as well as knowledge with speed lights).
· Must be comfortable with Pocket Wizards.
· Able to trouble shoot photography and lighting equipment on the spot.
· Must understand color calibration and be able to shoot in both jpeg and RAW image files.
· Must be able to communicate clearly with patients and be able to direct them during the photo process in a professional manner.
· Must be able to work with kids and adults.
