Dalen Products, Inc. is Hiring a Customer Service Supervisor Near Knoxville, TN

SUMMARY

To provide excellent service to our customers through oral and written communication, while managing the order to fulfillment cycle for the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Field customer inquiries and follow up with responses via email, the telephone, social media, and partner online platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a list of frequently asked questions to aid the organization in responding to customer feedback and questions.
  • Manage the order entry process for Dalen, which includes EDI orders, Web orders, Email orders, Fax orders, and orders taken over the phone.
  • Distribute daily reports to internal departments.
  • Work with key accounts and their unique requirements.
  • Track order shipments to ensure “Must Arrive By Date” compliance.
  • Complete customer and sales rep reports and forms, as required.
  • Monitor all aspects of customer specific programs.
  • Manage pricelists and upload them into Dalen’s ERP system (QAD).
  • Update Dalen’s ERP system with customer forecasts.
  • Track internal and external projects and tasks.
  • Provide support to Dalen sales rep groups.
  • Review sales rep commission reports for accuracy.
  • Send samples and literature, as required.
  • Prepare for customer buying shows and manage show sample shipments.
  • Create and maintain show calendar for all Dalen tradeshows.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

One direct report who will assist with the duties listed above.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); data entry experience, customer service experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
