Responsibilities:

• Direct support to day-to-day operations of infrastructure and operating systems in our own data center; optimizing systems utilization, and ensuring that environment is fully functional and available from an operational and technical perspective.
• Keep our environment up to date with latest security patches, upgrades to the newer versions, plus application migrations when needed.
• Perform equipment technology assessments, system performance analysis, system integration planning, specification development, test & evaluation, and system concept formulation/design/analysis.
• Provide Windows/Linux systems administration support and assistance to internal/ external development teams, including development on both physical and virtual servers.
• Coordinate the development of comprehensive disaster recovery plan, maintain the plan, and conduct annual testing.
• Manage 3rd party providers as needed.
• Oversee information security risk management processes and activities. Manage security risks through identification, analysis, treatment, and ongoing governance.

• Oversees the development and execution of information security policies, procedures, and controls to protect our organization's information systems, networks, and the confidentiality of data assets and member sensitive information.

• Lead and align IT security policies within Dakota.
• Perform complete risk assessment of the network and infrastructure, document and propose solutions to remediate.

• Ensure adequate processes and controls are in place to monitor, detect and prevent cybersecurity incidents and threats. Monitors adherence to established service level agreements in conjunction with our Information Security and other security policies. Monitor effectiveness of security tools / processes and reports on the status of contracted security services related to: Endpoint Intrusion Detection/Response, Endpoint Anti-Virus Malware, Vulnerability, SIEM and Patching management, Firewall Rules, Email Anti-Spam , Identity Management etc.

• Identify operational impacts and analyze data to determine recovery time and recovery point objectives, and develop action plans.
• Develop and keep up to date the incident response plans for various types of incidents.

• Monitor and analyze threat intelligence sources and conducts periodic technology risk assessments to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Maintains the cybersecurity risk register and associated remediation action plans.

• Perform periodic audit of users desktops, network file folders, security settings on servers, and users in AD to ensure policies are being followed and enforced.
• Participate in the incident response and recovery efforts in the event of a major business disruption, as documented per our incident response plan.

• Management of the Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Business Impact Analysis, Incident Management Response, and related Cyber Security programs. Development of the detail plan related to these programs as well as conducts periodic testing to ensure the organization’s preparedness or security incidents.

• Manage external contracts with incident response and emergency service providers to address recovery gaps.
• Provide guidance on cyber security and business continuity/disaster recovery best practices to identify, develop, implement, exercise, and improve programs.
• Work closely and collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure that security is being implemented in all aspects of IT.
• Work closely with Dakota to continue employee education and awareness. Oversee the result of employees phishing campaigns and responses.
• Review Security documents for third party providers. Response management and mitigation actions related to audit findings conducted by internal audit, regulatory agencies or by other third parties.
• Monitoring and auditing of the Identity management and user access privileges across Active Directory.

• Creates and maintains Information Security documentation (end-user guides, system administrator guides, policy, and procedure documents, etc.) using clear and concise language.

Job Requirements, Competencies, and Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
• Required Active (current) Certifications:
• Cisco: CCNA, CCNP
• Microsoft: MCSA Server 2012, MCTS Exchange 2010, MCSE exams or similar
• VMWare VCP (Previous certifications will work)
• Requires at least 8 years of related networking and system administration experience. Experience managing and maintaining datacenter Technologies - Windows Operating Systems, Linux, VMWare, VSphere, Storage, Backup Technologies and Disaster Recovery.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies, Print Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix and Citrix NetScaler.
• Strong Experience working with Linux.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of MS SQL database administration.
• Strong operational knowledge of networking, including implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient knowledge of Security systems. Fortinet experience is a Plus.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and demonstrated ability to create scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and great communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, independently and perform multiple concurrent and diversified tasks effectively.
