The Opportunity:

The Manager of Operations , Projects Department manages the overall development and sustainment of Motili’s Project Team through execution of small, medium, and large HVAC contracted projects. The Manager of Operations, Projects is responsible for maintaining the overall business relationship with Motili Clients, Motili Contractors, and Distribution necessary to execute projects effectively. In addition, this individual must work well across all departments within Motili, establish and maintain good working relationships will other department leaders, and deliver effective plans to continuously improve processes and effectiveness of the Project Team and their projects across the Motili organization. This involves making important policy and strategic decisions, development of personnel, and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Enhance and supervise overall business processes, performance reporting, and look for opportunities to improve systems and principles. Responsibilities

May include:

  • Lead a team of roughly 2 Supervisors,10 Project Managers, and 4 Project Coordinators to effectively execute HVAC projects Motili secures with Clients in the Military, Multi-Family, and selected Single Family Business Segments.
  • Responsible for the Team's success in all aspects of the Projects, including; SLA's profitability targets, SOP's, adherence to policies and procedures, and project timelines.
  • Create, prepare, implement, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Establish clear and measurable performance expectations for Supervisors, that are then cascaded down to their direct reports, and implement a quarterly review and performance improvement process that delivers on Motili's goals and objectives for the Projects Department.
  • Establish solid business relationships with leadership at various levels with Clients in order to support Motili's overall effectiveness in executing Projects, resolving larger issues, and boosting business opportunities working with Sales.
  • Consistently meet Company and department objectives within budgets and time constraints.
  • Function as a liaison between the Project Department and other Motili departments in order to execute Motili's objectives.
  • Lead or delegate Project Meetings, Webinars, Training, and Conference Calls.
  • Help negotiate, draft, and finalize multi-million-dollar contracts as needed in order to execute Motili's Project business.
  • Recruit, train, assign, coach, and counsel direct reports.
  • Communicate job expectations, strategy, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
  • Improve employee job and industry knowledge with regular training opportunities..
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to Product Management and Development about changes to the platform that would improve client and contractor satisfaction and effectiveness working with Motili
  • Maintain clean, professional, and safe work environment; creating an environment that welcomes others
  • Implement on-the-job training activities to cross-train other employees on various tasks.
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

  • Ability to adjust to operational needs as they arise. Ability to work under pressure and able to make sound decisions.
  • Telecommunications/ Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Strong Negotiation and Conflict Resolution skills, ability to think critically; de-escalate issues that may arise
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • HVAC knowledge is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in vendor management, manufacturing, pricing, marketing.
  • 5 years of experience with people and project management, leadership, business negotiation, planning, communication, and delegation.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Certifications – OSHA 10 or 30 certification – preferred

Pay Grade:

  • $101,675.00 - $127.337.00
