Hedge fund - Trade Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Handle daily trade life cycle management including trade capture, trade monitoring, trade allocations, settlement, stock borrow, trade matching, end of day trade reconciliation for listed, over-the-counter and FX transactions
• Daily position, cash and trade reporting and reconciliation, ensuring that any items that require urgent attention are flagged and escalated
• Manage internal book transfers and booking
• Collaborate with multiple teams (Investments, Trading, Compliance, Accounting) to resolve internal issues and support normal operations
• Act as a process owner for current functionality and provide critical support regarding improvements to technology, workflows, and processes
• Candidates should demonstrate a passion for building relationships and the analytical skill set to distill complex transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Ideal candidates will have an operations or accounting background and 5 years of prior experience at a hedge fund, investment management firm, broker dealer or accounting firm.
• Technical knowledge of derivative products including but not limited to Options, Futures, Currencies, and Total Return Swaps (TRS)
• Prior experience with Enfusion or similar OMS / EMS systems required
• Prior experience with Hazeltree and Novus considered a plus
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Bill.com, expense management systems considered a plus
• Strong excel skills
• Self-driven with a hands-on approach for problem solving
