We are what could be described as a family business- we are the furthest from a corporate big box employer as one could imagine, yet we are willing to offer a lot of the same benefits without the stuffy atmosphere.
Core Responsibilities :
- Prepare sauces, soups, and slice deli meats & cheeses according to recipes and set procedures
- Keep fridges, work spaces and equipment clean and well organized
- Receive kitchen deliveries as needed
- Learn and work the sandwich line as needed
- Assist in preparation and plating of catering platters
Skills / Experience Required :
- Basic knife skills
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow a recipe
- Catering experience a plus
- Reliable and on-time
- Must be open to working both morning, evening shifts, and weekend shifts as needed
- Able to lift 40 lbs. & stand for at least 4 hours at a time
This position shares tips evenly with front of house staff which means the total hourly rate typically breaks down to $21-$24 / hr (Or more!).
The company will also guarantee a minimum of $20 / hr pay if tips for some reason do not get you there.
