Customer Relations Specialist

We are in search of a talented and energetic individual to join us as a Customer Relations Specialist. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth while developing your skills in customer service, project management, and relationship building.

As the Customer Relations Specialist, your primary role will be to create an excellent customer experience and a smooth transition from the end of build through service after the sale. Your primary focus will be ensuring successful execution of a customer relations program that adheres to Cypress Homes Inc.s established timelines and high-quality standards, and an elevated level of client satisfaction. To include efficiently and effectively coordinating efforts and communication between clients, our construction teams, and internal departments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the success of a dynamic homebuilding company.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships to ensure an excellent experience before and after the sale.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Cypress Homes warranty policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Cypress Homes high quality standards through diligence and responsiveness.
  • Develop great collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners to be initiative-taking and solutions oriented.
  • Complete on-site walk-throughs with customers and project managers to create punch lists.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to complete punch list items prior to closing.
  • Create and implement a customer follow up survey and personal call program to gain insights on the customers experience, build trust and open lines of communication.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, field staff and customers to rectify open warranty items.
  • Manage open warranty claims by prioritizing scope of work, urgency, and subcontractor/field staff efficiency.
  • Maintain timely resolution of warranty financial matters.
  • Complete administrative tasks timely; prepare warranty documents, binders, and project updates.
  • Develop plans and act in collaboration with internal and external teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Responsiveness and resourcefulness.
  • Strong ability to assess and prioritize customer needs while maintaining company policies and procedures.
  • Possess effective and efficient organizational and follow through methods.
  • Ability to clearly communicate simple and technical information between stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in customer relations and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in project or customer management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
  • Energetic and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of residential construction preferred.

Pay range: Hourly, $21.00 - $26.50

Education: Diploma.
