Position Summary:

We are recruiting for contingent Management Analyst roles from level 1 to 3. A management analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes information in order to make recommendations to the government. Individuals in this role will be supporting NAVWAR in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance with the DOD is required at time of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Level 1- requires 3 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis of financial/cost analysis for a U.S. Navy program or operations.
• Level 2- requires 7 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis of financial/cost analysis for a U.S. Navy program or operations.
• Level 3- requires 10 years of acquisition experience in cost estimating supporting a program office, PRO, or other defense agency.
• PMP Certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Must be able to able to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and via writing.
• Advanced writing skills is required to inlcuding spelling, grammar, and punctuation for professional level reporting

Responsibilities:

• Defines the nature and extent of problems. Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, cost performance, schedule, or expenditures.
• Interviews managers and employees while observing their operations.
• Develops solutions to problems and prepares recommendations, while understanding the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
• Prepares and solves mathematical models.
• Reports findings and recommendations to the Government. Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
