- PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solution Architect in the semiconductor industry plays a crucial role in designing and implementing effective solutions to manage product development, manufacturing, and lifecycle processes.
- Let s delve into the key responsibilities and skills associated with this role.
- Number of years of experience: 15 Years in Teamcenter implementation.
- Industry domain: Semiconductor.
- Analyzing business requirements and understanding the unique needs of semiconductor design, new product introduction (NPI), and manufacturing processes.
- Configuring and automating workflows within Teamcenter.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to address complex bug issues in production systems or applications.
- System Architecture Assessment and Improvement.
- Designing system architecture and identifying areas for enhancement.
- Design integration interfaces with existing applications.
- Working closely with technical staff to recommend solutions that improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- End-to-End Solution Design.
- Gathering business process requirements related to semiconductor design, NPI, and manufacturing.
- Preparing detailed functional specifications and advising offshore teams on efficient implementation.
- High-Level Architecture and Solutioning.
- Collaborating with relevant architects, subject matter experts, and project management teams.
- Mapping services and software to meet customer requirements.
- Creating high-level architecture/solution options, work breakdown structures, project timelines, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
- Technical Troubleshooting and Support.
- Solving technical problems as they arise during Teamcenter Implementation.
- Providing expertise in resolving issues related to Teamcenter customizations and configurations.
- Proficiency on below Teamcenter modules.
- Requirements Management.
