Cycle CPA is Hiring a Remote Remote Accountant

The accounting and advisory department of our innovative and fast-growing online accounting firm is seeking a remote Accountant to join our virtual team. We are looking for an individual with a robust technical skillset, someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, and is dedicated to achieving exceptional results. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients, but without a busy tax season since this role’s focus is in monthly accounting and advisory work!

In this position, your main role includes offering a hands-on accounting and financial experience through substantial client interaction. With a focus on client engagement, you will utilize cloud-based platforms to develop financial statements, then analyze those statements and data to advise clients on decisions related to their finances. We provide accounting services to Green Industry businesses (landscaping, irrigation, arbor, etc.), and this specialization allows us to better educate and advise our clients based on our experience in this niche.

What You’ll Do:

· Handling bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online for multiple companies at a time.

· Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on a monthly and as needed basis.

· Lead virtual client accounting advisory meetings

· Communicates directly with clients via phone, email, and video chat software.

· Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

· Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data.

· For controller and CFO clients, helping with job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.

· Assisting clients with payroll setup and use of payroll software through our 3rd party partner.

· Assist the client in the onboarding stage, along with any clean up and catch up accounting work.

· Proactively addressing and responding to potential issues.

· Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online.

· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to meet with clients in an advisory capacity.

· Ability to learn new online software and comfortable using technology in general, including video chat software, email, spreadsheets, apps, etc.

· Enjoy the fast-pace and personality of entrepreneurial business people.

Your Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field, or Associates degree paired with additional years of working experience.

· 2 to 5 years of related experience
