Job Summary
Standout Skills/Experience:
- Microservices (MUST-HAVE!!!!)
- Experience working with high-volume applications
- Both GO and Java experience (Experience with both is not a requirement but this would be a differentiator).
Typical Duties
- Lead and participate in designing and implementing large and/or architecturally significant applications.
- Champion company standards and best practices, continuously improving software delivery processes.
- Foster partnerships across application, business, and infrastructure teams.
- Develop programming specifications and code, adhering to SDLC best practices.
- Independently complete estimates and work plans for design, development, and implementation tasks.
- Create and maintain technical system documentation throughout the SDLC phases.
- Participate in all system testing phases.
- Communicate effectively with relevant teams to ensure proper assignment management and high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Experience in developing high throughput, distributed multi-region applications and databases
- Proficiency in backend REST microservices development
- Deployment and maintenance of microservices to Kubernetes
- Expertise in Go language and/or Java, preferably Go
- Cloud proficiency, preferably in Azure
- Experience with distributed SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency with CI/CD workflows, preferably in Github
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote offshore teams
