Lead Construction Superintendent - Multifamily

Job Title: Lead Construction Superintendent
Location: Sarasota, FL
Hours: Full-Time
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Base Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000/year

Position Overview: The Lead Construction Superintendent - Multifamily is responsible for managing the overall construction process for multifamily projects. The Lead Construction Superintendent will provide guidance and direction to the entire project team including subcontractors, suppliers, and employees to ensure that the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and with the highest quality. The Lead Construction Superintendent will collaborate with other departments to coordinate all aspects of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the construction process from the start to finish of multifamily projects.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all materials and supplies needed for the project are available.
• Oversee and manage the work of subcontractors and ensure that all work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise during construction.
• Provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders on progress and status of the project.
• Monitor projects costs and budgets to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Ensure that all construction complies with local and federal regulations and codes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in general contracting, multifamily construction, or related field.
• Knowledge of local and federal construction codes and regulations.
• Excellent project management skills with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
