Sorensen Stables is Hiring a Manager, Operations Near Wellington, FL

Sorensen Stables is a fast-paced growing business specializes in International Competition, Performance Innovation, Top-Level Horse Sales, and Breeding. Operating out of their European base in Hoogeloon, Netherlands, and their North American base in Wellington, Florida, Sorensen Stables’ operations are entrenched in the key geographies of world-class equestrian sport. They Company is seeking to hire a Manager of Operations to act as a supportive force that will empower senior leadership.

The Manager, Operations will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of Sorensen Stables’ top priorities. S/he will work side by side and travel with the Stable’s leadership delivering on the execution of the daily plan, capturing social media content, timely communication and client management, and managing key administrative tasks to ensure that overarching business is meeting all real time requirements and long-term strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Given the dynamic nature of the equestrian industry, the Manager, Operations will be flexible and consistent while maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.

Role Objectives:

  • Support the CEO and provide additional support to executive team members as directed, to ensure daily and long-term goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
  • Plan and orchestrate leadership’s work to ensure priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
  • Maintain and refine internal processes to create efficiencies and expedite workflows.
  • Manage communications with other employees, vendors, and clients. Liaise with external service providers on various projects and tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO. Develop processes and programs to coordinate and communicate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to other relevant parties.
  • Manage CEO’s travel logistics and activities and creating itineraries as required. Keeping the CEO on track and on task.
  • Provide administrative and office support by implementing and utilizing the appropriate software and systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with all materials.
  • Capture relevant social media content across all business lines. Deliver content to external consultant in a timely manner to ensure all key content is posted within a reasonable and strategic timeframe.
  • Meeting attendance. Collecting and organizing pertinent information from all meetings to ensure priorities are identified and, subsequently, met.

Qualifications:

  • Four or more years of experience in an administrative or operational role supporting senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
  • Agile team player. The ability to adapt quickly and open to tackling challenges and complexities.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information related to the company, its horses, its employees, and its customers.
  • Experience in developing internal processes and systems.
