We are seeking an Operations Manager and Grooming Assistant to oversee and participate actively in the daily workings of our mobile dog grooming business. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys managing and occasionally participating in hands-on work when needed. You will manage operational tasks, handle client interactions, and organize a team schedule with 3 mobile grooming units. Additionally, you will gain insight into all aspects of business managment under the guidance of the owner.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and scheduling grooming appointments and managing the grooming team.
• Handling customer inquiries, bookings, and feedback.
• Managing inventory and ordering grooming supplies.
• Overseeing the maintenance of grooming equipment and grooming van.
• Performing hands-on grooming duties as required, ensuring high standards of pet care and styling.
• Capture content, showcasing grooming sessions and dog interactions to enhance the business's online presence.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in dog grooming (assistant/bathing experience sufficient) with a solid undertanding of different breeds.
• Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Passion for animals and commitment to their welfare.
• Understanding the psychology and pressure related to canine training.
• Valid driver's license.

Training pay and the post training salary is competitive based on experience.

Training pay - $18-20 per hour - First 30 days

Post training pay - $20-22 - With potential for performance based raises and additional commission based appointments.
