One Full-time Housing Inspector position is available immediately! A successful candidate will:

• Perform statewide Quality Control inspections of housing units and properties that are subsidized under the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
• Verbally communicate findings to local agency representatives.
• Complete electronic inspection reports for each unit.
• Interpret and implement HUD regulations and guidelines.

Inspections will be performed throughout the state of New York. Travel, hotel, per diem, and rental car will be provided. Training will be provided as required. Applicants must be professional and courteous and willing to perform multiday overnight travel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required or at least 3 years equivalent experience performing housing-related inspections or fieldwork.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.04 per hour
