Customs Goods LLC is Hiring a Project Supervisor Near Valley, CA

Summary/Objective: In this role, the Project Supervisor will play a role in the organization’s strategy, ensuring that there is a clear set of prioritized projects and that these are implemented as planned. In general, the Project Supervisor will work closely within the organizations’ Leadership team and Regional Operations’ Heads, in coordinating stakeholders towards achieving the goals established.Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for setting up the project charter, defining project scope, set-up timelines, and roll-out prioritized projects 
  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
  • Assign tasks to team members and help them understand what’s expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables.
  • For complex projects, the Project Supervisor will assist the project manager/s in the development of project management documents such as meeting minutes, project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans.
  • Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as tracking invoices, purchase orders and inventory reports, among other financial and operational documents.
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress, team members’ performance, and provide updates to project stakeholders.
  • Schedule stakeholder meetings, document and generate reports to communicate project progress to all levels in the organization.
  • Required to travel on-site to start-up and lead/support implementation of projects.
  • Responsible for clearly communicating and coordinating with the operation team(s) and other key stakeholders.
  • Supports and facilitates project outlines for multiple internal departments within the organization.

Required Education and Experience
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree -Preferred but not required. If not must have 2-3 years of experience.
  • 2-3 years' experience in project management running leading and supporting multi-functional projects.
  • Must be able to demonstrate as a project support on key projects with significant corporate impact.
  • Ability to react to changes in the project environment.
  • Travel on-site to start-up and lead implementation of projects. Will be required to travel lightly.
  • Build and manage project teams & build and manage project plans.
  • Manage project resources and manage projects effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to influence others with initiative.
  • Ability to balance work between leading standard projects and supporting complex projects.
Systems:
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management Software Soft Skills
  • Project Management Software: ProjectManager.com, Microsoft Projects.
