Associate Software Engineer

ConexSys is an independent software vendor with an international customer base. We build, sell and support HI-IQ® a leading healthcare software solution for Interventional Radiology. We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to be a part of our innovative and creative team working on projects creating fabulous technology solutions for the medical domain.

Our ideal candidate is someone with experience using core Microsoft .NET/SQL Server development stack, has utilized SSRS or Logi Insights for report creation and understands interoperability using HL7. Key Responsibilities

• Developing new features and maintaining existing features using Sencha ExtJS and Microsoft ASP.NET MVC / MS WEB API / SQL Server
• Maintaining and building automated data import and export interfaces (Iguana)
• Working with the development team to meet Sprint goals
• Continually updating job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Must be detail-oriented and organized, with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks and projects

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL 
• 2 years of development experience as a software engineer using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web API or other object-oriented programming languages for application development
• 2 years of proficiency developing cross-browser, event-driven, secure web applications using: JavaScript (jQuery/Angular/React), AJAX, REST, JSON, XML, CSS, DOM

• Strong knowledge of OO, MVC and other design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of debugging techniques
• Experience building applications for healthcare and an understanding of HL7/EDI
• Understanding of the SDLC, preferably Agile and Scrum
• Experience with Git (BitBucket or GitHub)

Nice to have skills

• Experience with Iguana/Lua
• Experience with Logi Analytics
• Experience with SSRS
• Knowledge of Octopus as a deployment tool
