Recently, we’ve experienced exceptional growth, nearly tripling the size of our team since 2019, and we are looking to add an HR Representative to our Cura Vitae team. Reporting to the Cura Vitae Program Director, the HR Representative will assist in driving efforts in orienting and retaining top talent, as well as support and carry out the day-to-day HR functions for the program, maintaining an employee-oriented culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable (LMA) a team responsible for creating positive experiences for candidates, new hires, and employees.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of HR practices and business goals.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection process for open positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Support team and new hires during the onboarding process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Assist with the orientation of new employees to ensure a smooth, positive transition into the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure that personnel records are complete and all required licenses, certifications, training, and performance evaluations are complete.
  • Work with KC payroll department and team leaders to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee time, attendance, and payroll data.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee complaints or concerns and work to resolve them in a timely effective manner. Ensure that all new hire screening complies with program and partner job requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to improve the overall employee experience, including employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Kennedy Care in the management of employee benefit programs, leave of absence programs, workplace safety, workers compensation, investigations into employee or HR-related complaints, and other company initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Reside in the state of Michigan or Ohio
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, or similar area of focus, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year HR experience in the healthcare field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work and manage in a hybrid environment.
