Cumulus Media is Hiring an Assistant Program Director Near Little Rock, AR
CUMULUS MEDIA | Little Rock is looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Assistant Program Director. Are you highly organized with a mastery of time and task management and possess a relentless work ethic to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment? Do you excel in taking direction and managing projects to completion in a timely manner without sacrificing work quality? Are you a content creator that can bring fun, relatable ideas to life? Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Program Director with writing and producing station imaging, liners and promotional messages.
- Assist in executing on-air content, promotions and contests on 101.1 KRMD and Q97.3.
- Schedule on-air talent and board operators for 101.1 KRMD and Q97.3
- Help manage syndicated programs, across the cluster.
- Fill-out and file various programming reports as assigned and needed.
- Voice and produce commercials as assigned.
- Provide a steady stream of content for cluster websites and assist with social media and podcast production.
- Participate in various Programming and Promotions meetings as requested.
- Attend large scale station events.
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ of successful programming experience and winning track record backed by Nielsen Audio results preferred
- Strong social and digital experience
- Savvy computer skills and proficiency with ratings, research and music (Stratus) programs
- Ability to multi-task and the discipline to focus on what is the highest and best use of your time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with air staff, departments and clients
- Creative and strategic problem solver
- A strong understanding of PPM / Nielsen Ratings and ability to interpret various kinds of research
- Deep knowledge of music, pop culture and current events and how they relate to the station’s target demo
- Have and build great relationships in the music / entertainment community with a deep contact list
