Typical work schedule would be Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5pm with rotated Fridays of 7am-3:30pm. On the weeks a Friday is worked, employee will work shorter shifts through the week.
Responsibilities:
-Perform end-of-day reconciliations for all offices/suites.
-Audit products sold to ensure accurate billing and coding.
-Post patient payments accurately and in a timely manner.
-Post insurance payments received via mail, ensuring correct allocation.
-Prepare and mail patient statements promptly.
-Send late notice letters along with statements if applicable.
-Bill out claims once visits are finalized, ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
-Collaborate with the billing team to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
-Stay updated on changes in billing and coding regulations, particularly related to dermatology.
-Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
