You will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their visit. with us by serving the tables in your section, taking dine-in and to-go orders, delivering beverages in a timely fashion, managing your running side work, and resolving customer issues.

Primary Responsibilities:
To serve food, drinks, and to accommodate guests’ needs in a timely manner, with a friendly and upbeat attitude, following the Basic Server Steps.
Specific Functions and Duties:

• Completes opening and closing duties.
• Delivers food and drinks to guests whenever it is ready.
• Displays a positive, teamwork-oriented attitude at all times.
• Greet guests, answers questions and suggestively sells food and drinks to each guest.
• Creates a fun atmosphere by interacting verbally with all guests.
• Relays orders to kitchen and bar via the point-of-sale computerized register system.
• Remains accessible throughout entire shift to respond to guests’ requests.
• Presents guest check to each table and accepts a form of payment. Makes correct change and/or completes the proper charge card procedure.
• Participates in rolling silverware.
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables.
• Actively participates in assigned opening, continuous and closing side work.
• Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning duties.

Qualification Standards:

• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, booth seats, chairs and pick debris up off of the floor in all areas of the restaurant.
• Transports plates and glasses to and from the dining room, service bar and kitchen continuously on every shift.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during entire shift.
• Transport glass racks, cases and bus tubs up to 25 pounds throughout shift.
• Previous experience as a server
• Ability to memorize all the ingredients in both the menu as well as daily/weekly specials
• General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Take orders from bar customers for food and beverages.
• Deliver all beverages in a timely fashion
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your section
• Running food whenever needed to both your tables and your teammates
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner
