Demold Technician
Job Description
CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.
We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as a at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
Job Requirements
- Assembly & Disassembly of molds without damaging the corresponding parts
- Mold cleaning and preparation
- Read and understand manufacturing plans pertaining to department operations
- De-mold cured laminates from molds
- Monitor condition of molds daily & become familiar with when molds will require stripping (Method 1)
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety precautions in the shop environment
- Time management & prioritizing skills
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly
- Ability to set goals and standards
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment
- Able to identify & solve problems
- Make decisions & Weigh risks
- Think clearly & analytically
- Ability to interact with people on the shop floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groups.
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
- Able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
