KOST USA, Inc. is Hiring a 2nd Shift Operations Technician Near Cincinnati, OH

KOST USA is looking for a 2nd Shift Operations Technician to join our team! This role will be tasked with a wide variety of work. This includes mechanical work, electrical work, and troubleshooting. This position will also require working in production by providing support and assistance as needed.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
  • Following all established procedures and abiding by all safety and quality guidelines.
  • Verifying the tank to be used for the chemical blend and following all instructions on the blend sheet to create the chemical blend.
  • On each blend sheet, recording the lot number and amount of each additive used.
  • Connecting proper hoses to tanks and pumps. Turning on the air or agitator to blend.
  • Working with the lab to quality check the blend to ensure it is ready for production.
  • Transferring approved product to storage vessel. And organizing additive bins.
  • Operating high speed bottle filler, capper, labeler, and related equipment.
  • Conducting equipment changeovers for product type and configuration.
  • Operating a forklift.
  • Working with the maintenance and operations teams to maximize efficiency throughout the lines.
  • Keeping the plant, warehouse, and other areas in the plant safe, organized, and clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
  • High school education is required.
  • Five years of related experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude considered.
  • Experience operating a high-speed bottle filler, capper, labeler, and related equipment.
  • Experience in quality checks (torque, weight, coding, visual inspections)
  • Experience using basic hand tools, making minor equipment adjustments.
  • Experience with robotics in an operations capacity.
  • The ability to easily lift 30-60 pounds and engage in repetitive movements.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Supervisory and Lead experience is preferred.
