CSCI Consulting is Hiring a PL/SQL Developer Near Indianapolis, IN
Job Description
CSCI Consulting is looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Software Developer to support a Federal customer. The Developer will be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation for a financial application.
Responsibilities
- Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
- Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
- Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
- Plans and schedules projects with user, systems software, and computer center operations personnel, including the identification of objectives, time frames, costs, and manpower requirements.
- Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria.
- May perform as a project lead with the responsibility for the instruction, assigning, direction, and monitoring of the performance of assigned systems developers / analyst working on a specific project.
- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience providing software development experience.
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
- Security certification is required.
- Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional presence is required.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Position of Trust.
Preferred Skills
- Experience providing development support on a large-scale financial application.
- Experience using Tortoise SVN.
- Experience working in a Scrum team using Agile methods.
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX.
